Our programs apply a community-based model: we design interventions with local people, integrate scientific methods, and focus on sustainable livelihoods to ensure conservation is locally owned and durable. Our main programmatic pillars are described below.

Habitat Conservation & Restoration

Objective: Protect remaining natural habitats and restore degraded landscapes to improve biodiversity and ecosystem services.

Core activities

Target beneficiaries: Communities neighboring degraded forest patches, smallholder farmers, and community-based forest management groups.

Community Outreach & Environmental Education

Objective: Build local environmental literacy and empower communities to lead conservation actions.

Objective: Generate evidence to design effective interventions and influence policy that supports biodiversity and sustainable livelihoods.
